Sean Charles

Born and raised in Barbuda, Sean’s heart is always in his homeland. Following the passage of Hurricane Irma, Sean partnered to coordinate the largest volunteer cleanup effort on the island, and has continued to lead interventions focused on reconstruction and rebuilding. Sean brings his passion and experience in community and infrastructural development, sports leadership, and youth engagement to Team BUDA Corp.

Currently a US resident, Sean recently retired from a decorated, 21-year career of service in the US Military, as a First Class Sergeant. He looks forward to dedicating even more of his energies to Barbuda, helping to advance new and innovative opportunities for Barbuda’s young people, while supporting the unique needs of its elder population.
